Maciej Bujnowicz was born in Warsaw, Poland. He started his vocal studies in 2000 at the Grazyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Music Academy in Lodz at the Faculty of Vocal and Acting Performance, and in 2005 he received a graduation diploma with honours. After taking his Master of the Arts degree in Poland, Mr. Bujnowicz continued his education in the USA with Professor Deanna McBroom at the College of Charleston S.C.; and Professors Juliana Gondek and Michael Dean at UCLA, Los Angeles, California. Mr. Bujnowicz's operatic roles include: Johnny in "Comedy on the Bridge" by B. Martinu at the Glenn Gould School; Demetrius in "Midsummernight's Dream" by B. Britten at the UCLA Opera - 2007; Dr. Falke in "Die Fledermaus" by J. Strauss, Simmons Center for the Arts Charleston - 2006; Bartolo in "Il Barbiere di Siviglia" by G. Rossini, Poznansky's Palace Lodz - 2005; Don Alfonso in "Cosi fan tutte" by W.A. Mozart, Lodz's Opera - 2004. This young singer has just been accepted by the Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto in the Artist Diploma program to study with Professor Jean MacPhail.
