Music Niagara Performance Academy graduate violinist Emma Meinrenken, with the Canadian Chamber Academy Orchestra, perform the Allegro movement of Mendelssohn’s Concerto for violin, piano and strings. The World Premiere of Music Niagara’s Odawa First Nation Composer-in-Residence Barbara Croall’s newest work for violin, pipigwan (Anishinaabe cedar flute), bozoq (Syrian national instrument), vocals, and string Quartet. Syrian musician Esmaeel Sharafadin, bozoq, and Rahaf Alakbani, vocalist, newcomers to Canada, will join Atis Bankas, violin, Barbara Croall, pipigwan. Vivaldi’s Four Seasons for Harp and Orchestra will be performed by internationally acclaimed Italian harpist Floraleda Sacchi, with the Canadian Chamber Academy Orchestra in this one-of-a kind arrangement for Harp and Strings.

This concert will be followed by a Q&A session with the artists.
