“Chamber Serenity: Kiri Quartet, Emma Meinrenken, and Astrid Nakamura with the MIB Violins” – Join us on August 10th at 7 PM at Grace United Church for a tranquil evening of chamber music, part of the “Mastering the Muse” series. This event showcases the harmonious collaboration between the renowned Kiri Quartet violinists and winners of the Canada Council for the Arts Musical Instrument Bank Competition, Emma Meinrenken with the historic MIB 1717 Stradivari violin, and Astrid Nakamura with her equally distinguished ca.1830-1850 Chanot I violin.

The Kiri Quartet, featuring dynamic young virtuosos Matthew Christakos (cello), Astrid Nakamura (violin), and Lynn Sue-A-Quan (viola), along with Meinrenken, will explore the depths of chamber music. Together, they promise a journey through diverse musical terrains, highlighting their unique talents and shared passion for classical music.

“Chamber Serenity” offers an evening of peace, beauty, and artistic expression, combining the unmatched craftsmanship of the MIB violins with the intimate setting of chamber music. Immerse yourself in the profound emotions and sublime craftsmanship of live performance.
