Dive into an evening of unparalleled musical artistry with the Young Women’s Choral Projects of San Francisco, performing at Music Niagara on June 25th at St. Mark’s Church. Under the visionary leadership of Artistic Director Dr. Matthew Otto, this premier ensemble, renowned for its exceptional artistry in choral performance, brings together young women ages 12-18 from diverse socio-ethnic backgrounds across the San Francisco Bay Area.

Since its foundation in 2012 by Dr. Susan McMane, YWCP has been transforming the lives of young women, providing them with a nurturing environment to find their voices as singers, artists, and empowered individuals. The Young Women’s Chorus, the flagship ensemble of YWCP, is celebrated for its beautiful sound, stellar musicianship, and dynamic programming.

Praised by the American Record Guide for its “refined and beautifully controlled singing,” the Chorus boasts an impressive list of accolades, including the American Prize in Choral Performance and the Margaret Hillis Award for Choral Excellence. Their performances, spanning early music to contemporary works, are a testament to their adventurous spirit and commitment to commissioning new music.

Don’t miss their enchanting Music Niagara performance, which promises to be a showcase of the expressive power and artistic excellence that have taken them from Carnegie Hall to international stages in South Africa, France, and Argentina.
